A money mindset course for practical women who want to be rich

A money mindset course for practical women who want to be rich

You’ve been working twice as hard for half the pay for long enough.

You’re ready to have your work, time, and talent VALUED. Which isn’t easy in a world that runs on keeping women, especially women of color, convinced that we don’t have the talent, the intelligence, or the worthiness to be the wealthy powerhouses we are each capable of being.

I believe in a different kind of future—one where every woman sees at least seven zeros in her bank account, at the bottom of her own balance sheet, and in her cumulative net worth.

Every woman needs to know what it feels like to wield economic power. That’s how we make change. That’s how we serve our children. That’s how we serve other women and the world.

Whether we like it or not, money is literally the source of power in American society. There’s very little any of us can do - to get paid for the true value of our work, to make our own decisions, to control our lives, and much less to move women and society forward - without the freedom that money can buy.

If 2020 is the year you want to focus on your earning potential and your ability to generate wealth...

If you’re tired of not stepping fully into your own autonomy, leadership, advocacy, and ambition...

If you’re into dismantling the systems of oppression that exist in our world today... or

If you simply want to create wealth for no other reason than you deserve it and you want it (you’re allowed to be ambitious just for ambition’s sake)...

You are ready for Worthy, a counterculture mindset course for the practical and professional woman who is ready to be rich in every sense of the word. Rich in money, rich in time, rich in power, rich in autonomy, rich in peace, rich in joy.

Worthy is a 10-week course that teaches ambitious,  professional women how to improve their money mindset so that they can take over the world. Literally.

I’m a woman of color, a mother of four and a seven-figure business owner — in that order.

I’m also an intellectual property lawyer and emerging author. I have been an entrepreneur for close to ten years and in that time frame I have built a law firm to $700,000 in revenue and a team of five employees and then pivoted to a coaching practice that generates multiple seven-figures with a team of ten. I also created a digital product, Small Business Bodyguard, that made over $1m in a 3 year period. And recently I sold my book idea to a top five publishing house for six-figures.

On the personal side, I live with my dream man in my dream house with my four beautiful kids who make my heart sing everyday. I’ve got no credit card debt, a six-figure emergency fund and trusts set up for my children.

But let’s be clear — Rachel Rodgers didn’t always have her financial shit together.

I grew up in an environment where the lights were regularly turned off. We couldn’t afford to pay the bills, and I was always worried about running into my friends at the grocery store (we used food stamps, and I was ashamed). There’s been a thread of financial insecurity throughout my life, even as recently as the birth of my first child. When my daughter was born and I was in the early days of building my first business, I qualified for WIC, a government program that provides for the nutritional needs of new mothers and their babies. I relied on medicare (government provided health care for low-income people) for health care for me and my child. Flash forward and my daughter is now eight years old, and we live a very different life than the one that I grew up in.

So how did I go from food stamps and barely getting by to millions?

It all started in my head.

I had a vision for my family and my business. And I knew I had the intelligence and ability to generate a lot of money. Despite having a law degree, expertise in intellectual property and business, and ambition for days, it took me a really long time to reach my goal of seven-figures. There were lots of wins along the way and many major setbacks. And even when I was making a lot of money, I would have to borrow from my sister’s savings account to make payroll because I couldn’t seem to hold on to the money I was making.

I had a problem with having money, with trusting myself to make smart decisions with money, and with believing that I was worthy of lots of money.

It was not until I dealt with my busllshit thoughts and stories, my upper limit problem, and my imposter syndrome that I broke through to the other side.

Now I make a lot of money, trust myself to make fantastic decisions with that money, and am comfortable having money—I don’t feel the need to instantly give it away or make it disappear. It took lots of coaching and courses and books and retreats (and a few rounds of therapy) before I got my money mind right. And it’s still a work in progress.

If you want to keep growing and earning more, you are never done growing your capacity to have money.

That’s why I have created Worthy. Because the world needs a money mindset course, created by a woman of color, for ambitious, professional women who want to know the practical steps they can take to increase their capacity to earn more.

I’ve developed Worthy with a master certified life coach, fellow seven-figure business owner and my Director of Programs at Hello Seven, Natalie Miller. Together we will challenge your limiting-beliefs around money and show you how to reset them, teach you daily habits that will increase your capacity to have large sums of money, and practical strategies to significantly increase your earning potential—whether you are a business owner or an employee.

Here is what you will experience when you invest in Worthy:

You will….

...Learn how to overcome the pervasive societal, cultural and historical social constructs that cause women to be fearful and stressed about money.

...Set boundaries in both life and work—boundaries that have long been overstepped due to societal norms and expectations that need a wakeup call from intersectional feminism.

...Gain tools to manage your time intentionally and in a way that makes sense for women (most celebrated time management practices are racist and sexist). You will create a healthy, balanced relationship between your time and your money.

...Replace your negative money stories with your own personal Worthy Story.

...Learn strategies to trust yourself with money and to make financial decisions using the Million Dollar Decision Matrix.

...Participate in a busyness detox and time management study, and then map your Worthy Energy to lower the amount of stress, busyness and exhaustion in your life,  in order to increase the amount of money, peace and abundance.

...Become a skilled negotiating and boundary setting Queen with strategies you can use with your loved ones (and in the workplace) that will prevent conflict and liberate you from patriarchal bullshit.

Conduct your own Work Worthiness Quotient, a tool to help you determine the actual value of your work in the marketplace. Once you know the value, I’ll show you ways to increase that value, without giving more of your time and energy.

...Create a detailed financial plan for your life and execute it with the practical strategies I use to compound my investments and spend and save with abundance.

Natalie and I got together to chat about why we created Worthy — and WHO we created it for.

Charge what your work is actually worth.

Take your experience and turn it into compound investments.

Make future financial dreams a present reality.

Charge what your work is actually worth.

Take your experience and turn it into compound investments.

Make future financial dreams a present reality.

The 10 Worthy lessons are broken up into two main areas—your Worthy Senses and your Worthy Actions

Worthy Senses

Start making Million Dollar Decisions (aka you don’t have to check with your husband) You will learn why you don’t trust yourself with financial decisions (it’s not your fault—you’ve been socialized this way), and what it will look like when you start trusting yourself. I’ll show you how to flip “Ain’t got a dollar” into “worthy of millions of dollars.”

Start protecting your time to protect your money (aka What we’re not gonna do is…) Time and energy are finite, and how you spend both is intimately related to how you spend and bring in money. Traditional time management is racist and sexist. I’ll introduce you to intersectional time management + productivity to reclaim your time AND money.

Start teaching people how to treat you (aka Boundaries make bank) If you want people to respect your time and value, you need this foundational and revolutionary approach to boundary setting. Todd will never give you a raise and Karen will never pay for your high ticket offer until you learn how to draw a line in the sand.

Start acknowledging what your work is actually worth (aka If you like it then you should put a ring on it) Learn how to capitalize on your value and put imposter syndrome in the backseat. Perform a valuation of your worth to determine your WPV (Worthy Present Value), and start charging accordingly. (And get that raise—whether Todd gives it to you or not.)

Start acting as if (aka I don’t play, I slay) Build your financial future, now, and create the path to cash in savings, in retirement, in salary, in dividends, in debts paid off, in compound investments, in trust funds, in knowing your worth and claiming it.

Worthy Actions

Stop working hard for everyone but you (aka No Scrubs) Begin to divest in people pleasing and invest in pleasing yourself. These practical tools for infinitely scalable income will increase the value and efficiency of your hustle. And command an increase in your earning potential. This lesson includes:

Stop questioning yourself (aka Claim your genius) You’ll learn how to assess and value your intellectual property—with this step-by-step guidance on generating abundance from your zone of genius.

Stop faking it and make it (aka perfectionism is killing your pockets) You will learn how to stop hiding yourself at work and in your business, and why that is such an essential step to increasing your earning potential. Step into your boldest, baddest self that demands her worth—your most authentic self is your wealthiest self.

Stop selling everything (aka sell your soul) As women, we need to let go of the idea that we have to be great at everything. Because, we’re just... not. The truth is that you’ve already chosen one thing that you’re passionate about. There is a single thread that ties your whole career together. We will help you identify that thread and start you on the path to becoming the mega fucking boss at that thing—even if that means a career transition or Million Dollar Pivot.

Stop doing it all in order to have it all (aka time’s up, Todd) Learn how to shift your identity from “someone who does it all” to “someone who has it all” by leading a team of A-players to support you in your dreams. Wealthy women have a home team, a business team and a money team. We’ll show you how to start building this team now even if you think you can’t afford it. This is how you’ll make your financial future a reality, boss.

Testimonials

“I'm an attorney, and I found myself thinking, ‘I cannot do this the rest of my life!’ Nor am I going to meet the financial goals that I have for myself, which is $1 million or more, being the service based provider that I am. I said, ‘you know what, there's gotta be a better way.’ And then that's when I found a friend introduced me to Rachel and her program and everything and it's just been so eye opening.

I now act like the CEO of the business that I actually am. I'm able to pull reports, run numbers, actually look at the numbers and, besides just looking at them, understand the numbers and make strategic decisions based on those numbers. I can understand trends and figure out where I'm going to go and figure out gaps—just do what I should have been doing for the last five years! I can focus on moving forward from there to actually help me meet my long term financial goals.”

“The biggest thing for me, where I feel like the first two months of MDB payments paid for themselves tenfold, was learning how to establish boundaries and value my time. My time has become very clear to me. Once you give back to yourself, then you can serve other people more effectively.

I don't necessarily have more free time because I'm shifting it from things that I shouldn't be doing to now and growing the business in a different way. I’ve gotten rid of all of these ‘opportunities’ that really weren't contributing to myself and my business. A major shift that I've had is saying NO to doing so much for free—or because I felt compelled to help people. I was doing so much for free, and so all of this time that I was spending helping everybody else was detracting from my goals. It was also putting me in a cycle where I couldn't deliver at the level that my clients need me to deliver at.”

“I hired an assistant who came on part time, and she helped with a lot of random things—she did so great that we quickly upgraded her and gave her the title of operations assistant because she’s handling a lot more than just a personal assistant.

She's changed my life—she anticipates things that needs to get done. She'll text me and say, ‘did you write that newsletter that you said you were going to write so that I can make sure that it gets out on time?’ She'll look at my calendar and say, ‘Hey, I noticed you have your double booked during this time. Do you want me to cancel one of these appointments?’ She’s one step ahead of me.

With the free time she’s given me, I’m building more relationships and more strategic partnerships. It's freed me up to be able to take some clients who have bigger companies and serve like more executive level coaches, which has been super great—and also just take advantage of some of the other opportunities that come my way. I just didn't have the time to do them before. And also sleep!”

"Without Rachel and her fabulous team, I couldn't have reached a level in three months that I thought was 5 years away. I wouldn't be rattling off a 10k price on sales calls, and I probably wouldn't have seen so much possibility in an online space. I've met some wonderful people and that's because of Rachel. I've had some wonderful experiences and it's all Rachel's ‘fault.’

I've grown by implementing Rachel’s methods and it's always awesome to see them all work. I never thought I would sit in first class on a flight or stay in nice hotels... I did that 3 times last month. (How did I even have the money right?!) And I had absolutely no clue that people were in first class being served nice food and all! (I was missing ALL OF THIS IN THE BACK).

No matter where we both go, I'll always remember Rachel."

“There was this kind of fear that I had with... ‘What can I do now to help support my family and myself and continue to be entrepreneurial, but be smarter about it?’ I want to present in the lives of my children. I want to create memories. I also want to be debt free. I also want to give like crazy to my community and to other people, as well. And money is a tool or a vehicle that can get you there. It's a bridge from one opportunity to the next. You know, really just being okay and changing my money mindset.

I was doing trademarks for $1500, but I sat down and I looked at how much money it takes for me to deliver this service and time, and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh. It's about a $3200 value—what I'm doing?!’ Then I got pissed off because I was like, ‘I just missed out on so much money,’ and I'm sitting here too worried about these clients and what they can and can't afford and that's not my responsibility. So I said, ‘Okay, that's it. No more.’”

FAQ

What is Worthy?

Worthy is a 10-week money mindset course for practical women who want to be rich. Worthy will teach professional women how to improve their money mindset and start getting real about their financial goals. The course is designed to guide you away from societal norms and beliefs that are keeping you stuck. Through counter-cultural lessons, intersectional feminism, methods to challenge your own beliefs about how much you can earn, and practical daily habits—we are going to teach you how to value yourself in a world that says your work is worth less.

2020 is just over a month away; it’s time for us to leave that mindset in the last decade.

You will be led to truly value yourself and allow that valuing to come back to you in bank rolls.

How does it work?

  • 10 video lessons where I’ll teach you practical strategies to improve your money mindset, value yourself, and change the daily behaviors that get in the way of your ability to build wealth.
  • 10 workbooks with homework items that help you apply the lessons in your real life.
  • 10 live group coaching sessions where you can ask questions and get coached on your particular money mindset challenges.
  • A high-level private community with like-minded, ambitious, professional women for the duration of the program.
  • Templates, scripts, cheatsheets, calculators, checklists and other tools to help you take action and increase your earning potential.
  • Access to bonus Worthy Debate podcast episodes with special expert guests. These are private podcasts about specific areas of money mindset that are holding you back.

Bonuses if you purchase prior to December 30th:

  • A bonus 90-minute New Year’s Day Money Motivate workshop with yours truly and my Director of Programs, Master Certified Life Coach, Natalie Miller. $1,500 value

What happens after I purchase if the program doesn’t start until February?

Fear not—you’ll get some instant gratification! You’ll receive a welcome email with an intake form and invitation to join our private Facebook community (where we’ll be sharing behind the scenes peeks at the creation of Worthy). We’ll keep you updated (and entertained) until class begins in February.

Who is Worthy for?

Worthy is for the ambitious, professional woman—whether you’re a small business owner or a Fortune 500 employee—who wants to improve her money mindset and start getting real about her financial goals.

For years, incredibly successful women have hired me to keep them from punking out on their dreams. In that time, what I’ve realized is that, even with all the strategy in the world, my clients’ limiting beliefs are what keep them from taking the necessary steps to grow their revenue. (It’s not actually lack of strategy, knowledge, or business savvy.)

In Worthy, you’ll also get the inspiration, motivation, feedback, and coaching you need to get past your fears and take action.

How much time will it take me to work through the course each week?

We recommend that you commit 2-3 hours per week to work through the program and implement what you learn. But the truth is you will be thinking about them on the way to the office, while dropping your kids off at school and during your Peloton workout. Worthy will permeate your life as you fully integrate these lessons and step into a new way of being.

When do we start?

Class begins on February 13th, 2020 and ends on April 16th. Live sessions will be on Thursdays at 2pm New York/11pm Los Angeles/7pm London/6am Sydney (Fri).

How much access do I get to you and your team?

As a Worthy member, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and get coached by myself and my coaching team live, every Thursday throughout the duration of the program. You will also participate in our Worthy community where you can ask questions and get the support of myself, the Hello Seven coaching team and your fellow Worthy participants—every week. We pride ourselves in providing a ton of support to our clients because we want to see you get results, and we truly love coaching our clients. And my coaching team of five diverse, badass women are each certified coaches with a ton of incredible experience coaching executives and business owners. You will be in excellent hands at all times. That said, this is not a one-on-one coaching experience. If that is what you are looking for, Worthy is not for you.

What is the refund policy?

Ain’t nobody got time for refunds. (And after you experience Worthy, you’ll feel the same and won’t ever want one again.)

I don’t offer a risk-free guarantee (in business and in life, there is no such thing). I don’t offer refunds either. What I do have to offer you is something much greater: my commitment to deliver the best possible program I can deliver and to care about you, your family, your team, your business and your dreams. I promise to say the things that may be hard to hear–but I’ll say them anyway, because you need to hear them– and I promise to provide the knowledge, inspiration, and motivation you need to get the results you are looking for, but up until this point have only dreamed about.

Meet Your Worthy Teachers

I’m Rachel, a woman of color, a mother of four, and a seven-figure business owner —in that order. I started my career working on The Hill with nonprofits, federal judges, and Hillary Clinton, and when I realized that changing the world is easier when you have some cash in your bank account, I decided to build a million dollar business and then teach other women how to do the same.

Over the last nine years, I have worked with thousands of entrepreneurs—and my mission is to help every woman I meet become a millionaire. I’m devoted to creating a space for women entrepreneurs to create their own success, beyond the borders created by white, male dominated advanced business trainings. I’ve worked with NY Times bestselling authors, tech startups, coaches, consultants, doctors, lawyers, designers, accountants, nutritionists, Broadway performers, and so many more.

I’m the creator of the Million Dollar Badass Podcast and the founder of Glow Up and the Million Dollar Badass Mastermind. Every week, my no-bullshit business and life advice gets delivered to over 30,000 fans, and my guidance for female entrepreneurs has been featured on NBC, CBS, Forbes, Entrepreneur, Fast Company, and the Washington Post.
